DEARBORN, Mich., June 28, 2018 – Ford Motor Company today announces that Ziad “Z” Ojakli, group vice president, government and community relations, has elected to leave the company effective July 15.
Since joining the company in 2004, Ojakli has overseen Ford’s global government affairs and its philanthropic arm, the Ford Motor Company Fund.
“Z has been a valuable member of the Ford team for nearly 15 years,” said Executive Chairman Bill Ford. “During this time, he has been instrumental in driving global policy outcomes and leading philanthropic programs that support Ford’s vision for growth and a better world.”
For the immediate future, the work of government and community will continue under the leadership of Stephen Biegun. Ojakli’s permanent replacement will be the subject of a future announcement.
